작곡가
임준희는 연세대학교 작곡과를 졸업하고 미국 인디애나 대학에서 석사와 박사학위를 취득하였다. 나
인용, 프레데릭 폭스, 존 이튼을 사사했으며 서울 음악제(1993), 전 일본 전자 음악제(1996),
미국 중서부 작곡가 심포지움(1996), 대만 아시아 작곡가 연맹 현대 음악제(1998), 파리
국제 작곡가 제전(1999)등에서 작품이 선정 발표되었다.
1998년에는 관현악을 위한 <알타이의 제전>으로 제5회 안 익태 작곡상 대상을 수상하였고,
이 곡은 ISCM '99세계 음악제(루마니아)에 선정되어 발표되었다. 그녀의 작품들은 시, 미술,
또는 춤 리듬등과 밀접하게 연관되어 있는데 이는 점점 멀어져 가는 청중과의 공감의 장을 마련하기
위함이며, 앞으로 새로운 세계를 위한, 인간과 환경 그리고 어린이, 청소년을 위한 작품에 주력해볼
계획을 가지고 있다.
현재 연세대학교에 출강하며, 한국 여성 작곡가회 총무, ISCM한국지부 이사, 아시아 작곡가
연맹, 한국 작곡가회, 21세기 교회 음악 연구협회의 회원으로 활동하고 있다.

JuneHee Lim, graduated from YonSei Unversity in
Seoul, earned her doctoral degree at Indiana University
in Bloomington, USA, studying composition with
InYong La, Frederic Fox, John Eaton.
Her works have been performed at Seoul Music Festival(1993),
Mid-West Composer's Symposium in USA(1996), Asian
Composer's League Festival in Taiwan(1998), the
46th International Rostrum of Composers in Paris(1999)
etc.
In 1998, she won the grand prize from the 5th
Ahn Eaktai Orchestral Competition with her
<Altaic
Ritual> and
it was performed at `99 ISCM World Music Days
in Lumania.
Currently she is teaching at Yonsei University
as a lecturer and she is a general secretary of
the Korean Society of Women Compers and a committee
member of ISCM Korean Section and a mamber of
Asian Composer's League.
