작곡가
김선하는 최근 음악극 형식의 초대형 뮤지컬"팔만대장경"을 성공리에 발표했다.
이 뮤지컬은 발표되자 마자 세계 유명 공연 기획자들로부터 공연 섭외를 받았고, 2000-2001년 중에
일본, 필리핀, 아르헨티나, 프랑스, 영국 등지에서 공연계획을 갖고 있다.
김선하는 미국 휴스톤대학에서 학사, 석사를, 택사스 대학에서 박사학위를 받고, 귀국후 21 세기악회 사무총장,
아작, 소리목, 대한민국전자음악회 이사로 활발히 활동하고 있으며, 현재 한서대학교 영상음악과 교수로 재직하고
있다.
주요작품으로는"교향곡 1번", "팔만대장경", 피아노와 테잎을 위한
-"Exaltation",
"현악삼중주", 혼성합창곡-"북" 등이 있다

Sunha Kim(b.1961) has recently world premiered his
musical- theatre, "TRIPITAKA KOREANA", and
it is scheduled to be performed in Japan, Argentina,
France, Phillipines and England in the forth-coming
years.
Most of Dr. Kim's musical training was done in the
U.S. where he was exposed to a variety of art forms
like studio art, design, musical-theatre, as well
as computer music. He did His undergraduate(B.M) and
graduate degrees(M.M) from Univ. of Houston, doctorate
degree(D.M.A) from Univ. of Texas at Austin where
he studied acoustic composition with Donald Grantham,
computer music with Russell Pinkston,theories with
Douglass Green, history with Elliot Antokoletz.
He is an active member of the 21 C. Music Society
of Korea, ACL, Korean Electro-Acoustic Music Society.
Currently, he is an assistant professor at Hanseo
University.
Dr. Kim has written orchestral music- "Symphony
no.1", musical -"TRIPITAKA KOREANA",
computer music-"Exaltation" for piano and
tape, chamber music-"trio" for 2 violins
and viola, choral music-"Drum" for mixed
choir and others.
